I TOOK A POLL (not danced on one) and...

In keeping with tradition, I hear you guys (and girls) like to take polls. Actually, my friend Ross told me about polls and bandwagon effects and underdogs and how that relates to the BCS and that is why Georgia gets screwed or something (I sort of stopped listening about 4 seconds into him talking...ssshhh don't tell him that).

Anyway here is a poll of me! That is something far more interesting that political banter about gallup and straws, blah blah.

So you get to pick numbers 1 through 7 of some of my personal favorite photos I have of me (well actually I like the sexier ones too, but you all can't handle that, I have a feeling this site is frequented by boys, NOT men. Soo sawwwy!)

LOL!

Ok so this should be easy enough, just pick the one you like best and at the end of a week we'll have a winner. And start thinking of the next contest...something interesting, something unique and mail them to my management company at brasshatgroup@gmail.com

They said something about giving people who comment and make suggestions on contests will get private pictures, but that is up to them. They are boys too. HA!

Have a good evening and enjoy this bit of silly fun.

Thanks! ~ Ginger :)

"She's Going To Break Your Heart In Two...It's True" - Nico

Nico 1965 - Velvet Underground

Ginger Lindsey 2008 - Sunday Morning Sessions

It has been said to me several times the last month or so ever since this image was placed on RIDDLED PHANTASMS, that I resemble Nico of Velvet Underground fame. Personally, I see it a little in the face, the fact that we are both blonde, and the natural physiques sans the plastiques.

So who is this Nico?

Well from all accounts, like what I read about her on the web, she was a singer, model, actress. Sounds good so far! She also was an Andy Warhol 'Chelsea Girl', but not like Edie Sedgewick who a few films were made about. I saw the one with Sienna Miller and felt so sad afterwards. She was new to the 'business' something my Management Team is big on trying to explain to me and I often wonder if they think I am going to wind up like her. If it's supposed to be a subtle hint it's not so subtle boys (and girls). In some ways, though I can relate what I've read of Nico, of her 'charms' and to being nice and somewhat naive and open to new ideas, innovations, friends, but not that naive, even though I believe in God and I trust the goodness of man.

Yes I take my sexy photos, because I am woman, and I like being sexy on occasion. I like bubbles in the bath and taking them slowly. Having my man, when I have one, well you know I always have one, but the serious ones who are going to buy me super nice things, not because it's a birthday or Valentine's day, but because it's weekday afternoon and he's feeling in love and lucky to have me. So yes, again, I am woman so hear me purr and oh I can rawr, but that is such a cliché and so not me. I'll leave the rawrs for those little girls who drink till closing time and act like trash flashing their po-po's like it's shure neato to be slutty and then they wonder in their myspace blogs or their cheesy pop tunes why true love is so elusive? If I was still 16 I would so duh, no-duh right now you have no idea!

Personally, my personal life is mine. It isn't for sale or meant to be made into a subway poster in London or some sex tape with the back-up QB for Atlanta's Arena league team - and no Mike Vick even if you and all your millions make it back, we don't want no Ron Mexico! Ewww! Ewww! Ewww! (ok topic change before I through up a lil bit in my mouth).

So in talking about Nico, she had class, grace, elegance. She was the girl all the men wanted, but none could keep. That is what I'm talking about ladies! Keep it tucked in, poise, you don't have have to be the house on the block that everyone makes a point of going to because of all treats. Have some tricks, don't turn them for gawdsake! So Nico, maybe this comparision thing of you and me, fated star crossed, "in a Dream we are connected, siamese twins at the wrist... I like that, Miss Nico. I like that today, you and me and the rest of the rats and the super rats can chase us till Miss Golightly lets them in. Anything worth having, is worth fighting for my grandpa used to say, Indeed Poppy, Indeed. :)

~~~
In 1965, Nico met The Rolling Stones' guitarist, Brian Jones, and recorded her first single. Actor Ben Carruthers introduced her to Bob Dylan in Paris that summer. It is said that Dylan wrote the song "I'll Keep It with Mine" for her shortly afterwards. Nico had a short-lived romantic relationship with the main singer and songwriter, Lou Reed. Around this period she was also romantically involved with prominent musicians including John Cale, Jim Morrison of The Doors, Jackson Browne, Brian Jones, Tim Buckley, Bob Dylan and Iggy Pop.)
Welcome to the New and Improved Ginger Lindsey.com (version 2.0)!
This is my brand, spanking, new website launch! The site is totally refurbished, my new home so go on, get your mouse fingers ready and bookmark it! I literally have gotten 'my people' and their staff of oompa loompas and out of work Christmas elves slaving around the clock (but not in a Kathy Lee sort of way) to get this finished and lo and behold, it's done!
Hooray!
So I guess I should start off with formal old 'Greetings and Salutations' or maybe, just a good ole fashioned, Hello!
No need with formalities as I was raised as a proper Southern girl, who doesn't sweat, but glistens, who always tries to have good manners and will kill you with kindness before raising my hand. I pride myself on having grace under pressure and a lovable smile and indomitable spirit that those of you who don't know me, surely will learn about soon!
So, in keeping with the theme of this launch, a welcome is in order! Get your mouse fingers or toes (if you are talented like that) ready and bookmark this link so that you can come back. Please bring your friends, your family, or whomever you want as the content and interesting, fun, sexy and sulty swimwear starts making its way on to the site as the summer approaches!
In case you are new to who I am, I am Ginger Lindsey, the 'Real One' (and in fact everything about me is real if you know what I mean ;p)
Lately I've had a makeover, not so much of me, but of introducing myself to the masses. I still am a natural blond (yes some of us do exist), with those blazing azure colored eyes and that kicking body. I've redone the website so that it can be more user friendly for you as I hope you visit me here often, because this is where I want you.
I am barely petite, 5'4 at least by runway standards, but remain a sensual and steamy youthful size 2 especially in during this fast approaching Georgia summertime heat (don't worry boys I have my bikini ready to go). Therefore, because, I don't have elephantiasis or Amazonian freakish height I am not going dunk on you and wag my finger in taunting fashion with the, You No Dunk on Ginger!, because us southern girls have more social grace than that kind of behavior. However do not be fooled either, because I got a whole lot of scrap in this tiny waist, firm tush and yoga practicing body so I can throw down with the best of them. However, as is proper Southern tradition the way my parents brought me up, I also clean up like a benevolent princess all in a single leap and bound!
I am of Scandinavian descent hence the blue eyes and blond hair thing and as for the body, well that I think is either genetics, hard work on my part to staying healthy and fit or a hyperspace physics thing. I dunno the answer to this, I'm told that the there is riddle to enigma that is Ginger (that would be me), but maybe we better ask Dr. Michio Kaku if that or the theory about the hyperspace (who has a very cute blog if I must say so myself) what is or isn't true!
I have to admit I'm a closet dork, who likes stuff like physics and neat intellectual stuff, but I also doesn't mind being given presents out of Dolce & Gabbana's official summer collection. Boys, that's your cue! Bring it strong or don't come at all, isn't that what the ESPN guys say? Oh, I dunno, my friend Ross told me that. Really, I hardly ever watch TV, but I am a huge film, music, fashion and art fan to name a few!
So, as some of you have seen me all around and over the net and events recently, such as at Chris Cornell's concert with my photo pass taking pictures in a professional way, at Club openings, Political fundraisers and other topical and diverse events, such as the Fashion and Style Honor Awards (an series of national and international honors events seen in the Examiner, FASHION magazine, Atlanta Daybook and more) at Opera in Atlanta where they say, "In this era of cultural amalgamation- fashion & style have emerged not only as a reflection of the times, but a mirror of mindset and a society outlet for all those who choose to embrace or rebel against." I have also been trying to hit the Atlanta Film Festival and certainly will do my best to be part of the closing ceremonies and after party. I have been a busy bee and that is why you have seen me around far more than in the past.
It has been told to me that in order for me to reach my goals, I have to keep busy and try to make a name for this new (at least industry wise) sweet, little face on the local, national and international scenes. A big reason for mentioning this is that the past is just a beginning and the future, seeing me and recognizing me around is where I believe I am headed. I have gotten myself a killer management team that is taking me and my career very seriously (the same way I do) hitting me up on various social and digital/interactive media websites like DIGG. If you aren't familiar with DIGG (I know that I wasn't at first) click the link and check it out. Even I now have my own DIGG account, including a sexy profile and all that jazzy jazz stuff. It's also a cool site (much like the others listed below) for finding out about other fresh sites, hot news, videos, pictures and killer ideas that skips over a lot of the internet junk that frustrates me to no end (and no I'm not a DIGG spokeswoman, I just like that it keeps getting my name out there! Go Digg(ers) ;p).
I've really do got to give my management team props for showing me that stuff and so much more and thank them and the contractors too (oompa loompas and Christmas Elves...hey the economy is really hurting right...j/k, they do have real people who are studs and studettes) for making me recognizable on DIGG, this new website's content and promotion and other methods to try and get me lots more publicity. "If you build it they will come." Right?
I am also referenced if you are interested on Stumble, Reddit, Delicious, Technorati and RSS Feeds (http://feeds2.feedburner.com/GingerLindsey) such as ATOM and Feed Burner. This is all stuff I had never heard of until now, but also is no doubt worth a looksie or at least that is what my people are telling me...they sure do talk a lot - oops did I just say that? haha!
And on continued work related notes I am also able to be found on Model Mayhem, One Model Place, and this site GingerLindsey.com - all national and international listings where I can be booked through my management company and given any necessary media outlet information, head shots, bios, press kits and listings. Their contact info is listed at the bottom of this post if you need to contact me professionally or as a fan have you any requests.
Of course I still got my personal MySpace and Facebook and I'm getting my own fan page on Facebook soon, so please get ready to look for me there and join up! Seriously, without fans and people who love me and support me, I wouldn't be able to be doing all of these sexy laundry room shots or the fan favorite for the month photo in my uber erótico dress with matching stiletto heels...rawr!
Also, I have even learned how to Twitter and now you can follow me during the day and night as you get closer to the life of Ginger via my tweets. You can friend me at http://twitter.com/gingerlin.
Watch out Oprah, I'm down with 'tweets' too! Seriously though there is no way I would be what I am doing and where I am going without you all. Any, and all support is much appreciated!
So that is it for now. Whew, am I keeping busy or what? I promise that I will be up and running soon with lots more photos similar to the two linked up above, as I have a lot of them stored at My4Shared.com (my file sharing/file hosting). If you haven't heard of 4shared before, now you have, be sure check out my profile there too! It's all part of my brand (or so I'm told lol).
Now that the new site is up and running I am going have my blog, my photos (as I just mentioned), and videos ready for you all to see, be sure to check back here often, even just to stop by and say hello, I love the love. I also really want to hear your all's feedback about what you want to SEE from me on this site (no perverts or perverted comments or I will block your IP on the spot and report you to your Internet Service Provider lickety-split, k? And not in a good way. So, now that we got that out of the way are we all good? I am down with "the sexy", in fact I love it, I am just not down with "the pervs" and really neither should you.)
As mentioned before I am available for work via photo shoots, casting calls, advertisements (digital, interactive, print and TV), promotional activities, DRTV(direct response television), Film (Regular Film Stock or Digital) and remain open to other business ideas, mainly (the innovative ones).
So get in touch with me soon, because I don't like staying in one place for too long1 I get bored easily so you gotta show me something exciting, something new, something creative to keep my attention hun!
Until next time... *kisses*
- Ginger
